Arrival by car

Burgellern Castle is conveniently located on the A70 motorway between Bamberg and Bayreuth. One exit after the motorway junction Bamberg/Nürnberg you already reach the exit Scheßlitz. Turn here and leave the highway. At the exit the brown signs to the castle show you the way. After leaving the motorway, turn left in the direction of Staffelstein/Stübig. After approx. 400 m turn left into the small village of Burgellern. Cross a bridge in the centre of the village and you will see the yellow castle on your left.
You will find plenty of parking spaces on the castle grounds.
Parking at Burgellern Castle is free of charge!

Arrival by train

The easiest way to reach Schloss Burgellern is via the ICE train station Bamberg.
Bamberg is directly connected to the main ICE lines to Munich, Berlin, Hamburg or Frankfurt.

Arrival by bus

The nearest bus stop is at the hospital in Scheßlitz.
